I noticed these lights on the auctions site:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ODYSSEA-72-384W-Aquarium-Power-compact-light-4-Lunar_W0QQitemZ300080688651QQihZ020QQcategoryZ46314QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I've read that they are junk and are fire hazards. Anyone have any experience or input on this?

I'm running a FOWLR tank and don't need MH's - just want some better light for the shrooms and LR. I also don't have a huge budget. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

lots of threads around here about the new odyssea MH lights. If it were me, I wouldn't go with PC's for lighting a reef. They are a bit dated of a lighting technology IMO.

I don't have a reef though. FOWLR - need to know if these lights will be good enough for that.

Sure there good enough for fowlr. They will be good enough for most softies as well. They just won't do well with sps or clams. And the jebo unit is questionable. If you do buy it save yourself a few bucks and get it from aquatraders for 179. www.aquatraders.com
