Hello all,
Looking for some advice and tips on taking better macro shots. I am limited by my camera and the lense options.
I am using an Olympus C770 UZ and some Raynox snap on macro lenses :(.
I know I need a new camera, but currently I'd rather spend that money on more corals :).
Any advice and tips would be helpful.
BTW pleae try to ignore the blurry spot to the bottom right...I was too lazy to scrape the glass before trying to shot the picture.
Oh and also the lack of color in the zonanthid more reason to spend money on some new prettier frags.

I agree. I own a Nikkon D80 with a macro lens and can't take pics like that yet. Good shot:strooper:

Well, there's this distracting spot in the bottom corner...

Oh, Nevermind. :)

Very pretty pciture, but it looks just a tad soft (maybe just the compression artifacts).

The color is wonderful and I like the composition.

Thanks all,
I am still learning and was pretty scared to post a picture but decided I would not get any better without any feedback. I looked up compression artifacts and the only thing I could find was it dealt with the compression format itself. Are there any settings I can adjust on the camera or during the cropping process?

Thanks,

Henry
