bought banded shrimp last week and this week found it dead. How come?

are you sure its not its exoskeleton cause i thought mine died too but it was just him shedding his skin which they do often, looks alot like them

Yea we need water parameters, tank size, other inhabitants, etc. Plus R.J. may be right, it may be that it just shed.

R. J. must be right cause we could see another part of him in the rocks. We thought it had died and part of him had disentegrate onto the sand. I picked that up which it immediately fell apart and i threw it away, but we can still see what looks like a shrimp in the rocks. Thanks.
