added a nice big red serpent star this week...thing has only moved around a bit, and I noticed one leg broke off a piece. Anything to worry about, or is he just slow to take in his new home? Is the broken leg an issue or is this common with it being likely to regenerate?

The leg will regenerate in time if the star is healthy. How did you acclimate it?

drip acclimation over about 1 1/2 hours

She will stay hidden under the rock most of the time, you can feed it 1/4" pieces of shrimp or scallop, they love it.

A couple of times a week will be OK.
