which skimmer?

I am in the process of setting up my 50g stocked reef and am in need of a really good skimmer.

I have heard of a lot of people using ASM and Octopus, but there is such a difference in price between brands...I dont know which ones work more efficiently then others. I am in college and footing my own bill 100% so the best one for the money would be something to consider

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure which skimmer is better, when I was looking for a skimmer I had a few people advise that the octopus was better and I was going to purchase a nw-150 but then decided to pay extra and get a Euroreef RS-135. Still waiting for it's arrival so I don't have a testimony to give. I'd reccommend getting the best skimmer you can afford, because having to buy a more costly skimmer six months from now to replace one that costs less but just isn't doing what you want it to do, will end up costing more in the long run.
