What starfish aside from serpent or brittle would be ok in a reef tank? It's a 75g with a 3" sand bed. It will have about 150lbs of live rock once it is all added. How long should my tank be established before I add one?

You could try one of the linkias, either blue, orange, or red. Be aware though that long term success is dismal. Their diets are mostly unknown, so having plenty of LR for grazing will be critical in keeping one. I would recommend against it. Continue doing research before you purchase, and when someone claims to be keeping one successfully pay special attention to how long, its typical for one to survive up to a year before dying of starvation.
