Hello : Has anyone experienced an increase in nasty algaes after starting to use ozone? I've read that ozone use can elevate the amount of nitrate in a system by the oxidation of other nitrogen bearing compounds. Of course, ozone also oxidizes other stuff that otherwise could feed algae. Any anecdotal experience where ozone use was the only variable, and algae bloomed ( or withered ) would be appreciated. Ditto for algae waxing and waning after stopping long term ozone use ...
