I am upgrading from my 46 to a 75 sometime over the next few weeks. Right now I have a dual 150w HQI coralife fixture over the bowfront with great success.. My question is I am going to buy the Current Outer Orbit with the same setup as above with 2/150w HQI but also with 4 HO T/5's on the fixture as well. Will this be ok to still house allot of my SPS? Seeing how the tank is a few inches shallower than the 46 I think if I go with 2 - 250w HQI I will cook the corals... Will the 150's and the T-5's be enough???

THanks
Spank.

Great thanks. Any photos of the light? How does it look? Are the 10k's to yellow? That is if you are still running them?

I have the Current 2-250 and 4-T5 combo on my 75 and its very bright and maybe to bright.I thinking about just running the t5 most of the time.I do have chiller and I don't think I could get by with out it.My house is hot anyways so that might make difference. The colors doesn't look yellow to me.I wish I had went with the 150's.I hope to move to a 120gal soon so thats why I went with the 250's
I will try to get some pics soon.

Well I bought the Coralife Aqualight Pro instead. My LFS was out of the orbit for three more weeks. My buddy got me the 48" Pro at cost and I couldn't pass that deal up! List it was $750 and I got it for $500 new.

I opted for the 150w's HQI and it has two actinic PC's in the fixture too.

I hope this will be ok for this tank? Fingers are crossed!
