Air flow direction

I'm just curious what you guys think the best direction is for the airflow through a canopy with halides when the fans are mounted on the top. Currently, I have two fans mounted side by side right in the middle of the two bulbs (came that way) and they are blowing air into the canopy. I'm thinking it would be best to switch direction and suck the hot air out of the canopy....what do you think??

Classically, the most efficient way to remove heat from an enclosed unit tends to be sucking air out of it, I think, but directing the fans at the water can increase evaporation cooling, I have been told, so it depends on how the tank temperature is doing.
