does anyone have any advice about a Blue Palm Coral?
I was wanting to find out about this type of coral before I purchased it

Bonnie,

You gave me the description with words so I wanted to verify with a picture. I went to SWF.com and looked it up.

It is indeed a tunicate and not a coral. It's common name is usually blue lollipop (lollypop) tunicate.

It's scientific name is nephtheis fascicularis

Even though they are awesome looking, this is one of those animals that is best left in the ocean. The plankton needs of these are not met in most aquariums (and if the plankton needs are met in your aquarium, you probably don't like the looks of your aquarium because it's likely filled with algae).
