I have the same problem. I think I need more clean up crew. Plus, I'm adding a wavemaker to help with dead spots.

Yes I have a diamond Watchman Goby but it only stays on one side and hides under my rock. I have a 40g can I get another one? or should I look at some more clean up crew? and if so what should I get or what do you recommend?

get a dragon goby...mine cleaned up my sandbed, which was covered with black algae, in one day! ive only had the guy for 2 weeks and man he's one of the best fish ive ever bought. also invest in some mexican turbo snails and maybe a fighting conch. also, how often are you doing water changes? hows the water flow in your tank? what are the water parameters?

I'm going to my fish store today, I'm looking at some snails and maybe more hermit crabs. Would I have to remove my goby to get the dragon goby or can I have both?

I'll get all my parameters for you today.

depends on the sz of your tank..if you have a 50gallon or larger i would gert a sand siffting sea star, they do a great job.

if you hae a smaller tank i wold get nasirius snails...they also keep the sand nice and white.
