How long till they decide who is who?

Hey I have a pair of false percs that I bought about 3 months ago. There is definitely a more dominant one from the 2. I am guessing this one will be a female. The less dominant one always twitches and submits to the stronger one, so I am guessing this one should be a male. Question is, how long does it take for 2 of them to work everything out and change sexes? This has been going on for 2 months now so I am not sure if this is normal or not (period of time that is)

This should be a fairly normal behavior for the rest of their lives. As long as it is not too violent and neither is harming the other, this can be fairly common is pairs where a female continually shows dominance...kind of making sure the male is up to the task of protecting the eggs.
