Need Help with refugium setup!

OK, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I bought a refugium for under the tank and I ordered a NW 200 skimmer. The skimmer will not sit inside of the refugium because of the little dividers. Even without the dividers the skimmer would take up 60% of the box, defeating the purpose of having a refugium.

Any way I can cheat the system?

not too many options i can think of. You can
1. get a skimmer that will fit that sump
2. run an external skimmer so it doesn't take up any room,
3. return sump and build your own so you can make the dimensions you nee- easy to do, just need tank and pieces of plexi.

Can I possibly have the skimmer raised on a box outside of the refugium and have the water drop in like a waterfall? Because I can probably extend the tubing.
