where is the cheapest place to buy live rock in Los Angeles?

probably a reef club/group member near you in LA is my bet. I dont buy live rock from stores really...they're just too expensive for a high school senior :) I just find local people in my club who're selling live rock if i need any. The most i've ever paid from local people is 3 bucks a pound. In stores the cheapest place is 5, and that place sucks for live rock (just not the greatest rock...no life at all in it)

Best to find a local reefer selling his fully cured rock.

If you need to buy new and have time to cure it, check out Vivid Aquariums or ReeferMadness for their 44 lb box (shpd in 20kg boxes from Fuji) Walt Smith Fuji premium, I think it sells for $120-140 and you need to order it a head of time.

The widest selection is a ReeferMadness, they usually have Kaelini, Branch, Buma, and Fuji Prem. Here you are probably $5-8 p/ lb hand selected and cured. http://reefermadness.us/RM-LiveRock.htm
