I have built my first canopy for my 75g. two 175w 14k MH and two 65w PC. I have the the lights about 10-11'' off the top of the tank. The canopy has an open back and there are fans behind each reflector, which are spaced and inch or so off the inside top of the canopy. Is this adequate or do i need to make adjustments? I'm planning to removed the electronics and paint/stain it when i get the design right.
My questions:
1.What kind of actinics should i get for the best visual look? (I know it is mostly personal preference but does a certain nanometer show up more /w MH's?)
2.Where should i order them? my first thought was ebay. (6 for 44$!?) I'm open to the best value store suggestions.
