I am trying my first SPS (Acropora)

I have had it in the tank about 1 month - it seems as if the coral is beginning to bleach (turn white)

what are the most common causes of this?

Too much light, too little?
Too high a calcuim number or too low?

I don't have the water numbers at this time, but I am looking at what may be the most common causes of trouble with SPS.

Thanks

you also need to give us some tank specs

lighting, flow, skimmer, total water volume, how do you mantain alkalinity and calcium, etc...

My current setup is as follows

-90 gal with 30 gal sump
-closed loop with OC SS pushing about 2300gph through four different outlets
-2 250W MH 10000K, 2 65W blue atinic
-GS-2 skimmer

don't know any exact water parameters at this time - last time I checked everything was great (about 1 week ago), I am at work now and don't have my sheet with the exact numbers.

how are you supplementing calcium and akalinity?
