Membership cards

Just curious what the new cards are looking like, any samples ?

I just got all the members info. and Terrie is looking for the logo off the shirts for me. I will post up an example when I get one done.

Also if anyone has any good pictures or ideas for them feel free to let your imagination shine here:)

don't think they are different. I honestly haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time on these since I am full time in school and with the kids and all. I plan on having then done by the March meeting though, so mo worries. I am going to start searching and posting up some more possibilities this week though.

This is just a question, not meant to ruffle anyones feathers.

Do we need to reinvent the wheel?

The design that we now have was approved by the members we had last year at the time.

Logo's used by organizations are seldom changed.

Perhaps this back ground is OK for our logo year to year and ONLY the INFORMATION needs up dated every year ie the names, expiration date etc.

This is just my two cents worth, A logo is a design that is supposed to bring INSTANT recognition.

Jessika if you want to help out or take it over, I can try to meet up with you. I just have been brain dead with statistics and biology and its normally 1am before I even get a chance to start thinking about them. I will have a few days between the end of school and the March meeting though, so I can still have them done in time for the meeting.

I was trying to get the logo off our shirts for the cards, but am having a hard time locating a good, clear picture of it. Do we know who did the shirts? They should have a clear copy of it, and I think that it would look good. Someone voiced a concern though that the clownfish would make it look to much like MTRC.

OK I found a logo (possibly)

I have the cards ready to print if all ok it.

Here is the picture and the cards will have North Tennessee Reef Club on the top, your name, followed by your username, and when your membership expires.

I will try to figure out a way to get a picture of how the cards would look, I might have to take a picture of the screen and put that up:)

some of those are really great but... the more detail you have the more ink its going to use. Plus We dont really want to take away from the point of the card by hiding the text!

I like this if it could be intergrated into a card with text..

Perhaps a light blue background with white or black text.

Have you looked at this with various light blue back grounds rather than the white. ?? Just wonder how that looks. But if cool with this too.
