Looking at corals online etc I see a lot of flow suggestions but there is no indication of how much. Things like low, medium and strong are listed. What exactly is considered medium flow? Strong flow? etc........... Maybe I am a rock head but I just am not seeing it...

What kind of corals do you have? What size tank? Most go by Tank turnover (ex 4x or 8x) Personal preference here, I think for SPS you need 10x or more, for softies, you might be alright to drop to 4x.

I would venture to say low would be anything 10x or less, medium would be in the 15 to 20x and high would be 30x or more. I am at 35x and still have dead spots myself.

Ok then I am way on the high end. I hax about 30x in my 75. Mostly LPS bare bottom. Maybe I should tone it down.

More flow is always good as long as it is not bothering the corals.
