will that be enough lighting for such a tall tank?

For a 25" high tank I'd probably go with the 250w Sunpod, assuming you want to keep a mixed reef.

I looked at what would be better for a 21" deep 37 gallon tank and so far think that you can do either a 150 or 250 for a mixed reef (150 is fine), a 250 would be for SPS heavy setups.

I'm curious - what kind of 37 gallon dimensions do you have that it is 25" deep? I've never heard of a tank like that unless it's a custom build, and 25" seems like a weird number to me.

I run my 150 pretty far off the surface, 10-12 inches or so on a 20 gal high display. I have got to be carefull what i place where or ill bleach stuff. On the box it come in it says that a 150 sunpod puts out as much light as most 250 watt setups and i dont doubt it. I have a baby clam now for a few months and he is on the bottom of my tank and grows like crazy. The sun pod fixtures are very powerfull IMO. you shuld be able to do a mixed reef on that tank with a 150.
