I tried picking up a Blonde Naso Tang & has been in my tank for about 3 days now, & its starting to look like a Super Model! lips are pouty, blonde, eye liners & super skinny, oh & refuses to eat. I have tried Nori, Mysis, pelletes & flakes. should I start looking for a rehab place? please help

Try soaking some food in Garlic. It should start to eat soon. Keep offering it everything you have been.

You might want to try live brine, I know that Tropical Isle in Centereach used to always have them, I haven't been there in a while though. Good Luck.

Dex, do you have any other algea grazers? My hippo never ate the algea I offered until I added another Tang that showed him what he was missing.

Thats a good sign that hes picking at the rocks. If you make it here tommorrow ill give you some of my nori and see if that entices him to eat. Maybe we can put a sheet in a bag with some garlic extreme to soak into it.

Easiest way to entice a picky fish to eat is with something live. Live baby brine is the best option, as it's usually pretty easy to get, and if young enough, they still have the yolk attached, which is very nutritious.
