Help Identify...please

Hello, I just bought 2.5 pounds of live rock for my tank today. When I put them in, I saw roughly 3 shrimp come out, all looked identical. I'm afraid they may be mantis shrimp. Maybe.... (it's my first tank)

Anyone know what it is? I put this one in my fuge, it's about 1/4th of an inch long, but I did see a slightly larger one, maybe half an inch..maybe.

Those are amphipods...very good and great for tank.

It's a great, big, fat Amphipod. With luck, you will have thousands more in a month or so. They're very beneficial to your tank and food source to your fish.
