wow jwedehase, this #1 and #3 are absolutely amazing! Dream zoos!
Blazer, lovely as usual!
This is my batch... Unfortunately in France it his very very tough to get nice colored zoos... but I received my order from coralfanatics two weeks ago, so I have some nice ones at last! Will do images as soon as they are fully installed... for the moment here are my first ones.

My favorite thing about zoas is how they glow under blue moonlights :) took me a while to figure out how to capture this with a camera, and I still don't have it quite right with my cheap camera.

I use a Canon 20D and those shots were taken with Canon's infamous 100mm macro. Your D80 is a NICE camera, you're just lacking the macro lens. A macro lens will allow you to really get in tight with your subject, something your current lenses can't do.
Some from my pico tank. :)

It is funny how big they seem in these pics, and then you realize that each of these pictures probably covers about a $Quarter$ sized area. :D
Nice pics!

Hello Steve,
You should try some of these settings:
- raise the speed, to freeze movement (1/200e is good)
- close the aperture (larger number) to make a better DOF (try f13, you'll have a bigger zone for the crisp details)
- adjust your white balance and make a little "curve" or "levels" or "light/saturation" adjustment in a photo editor, to take off the "grey veil" on your image,if you see what I mean.
that should work very fine!
