Two heaters - program

For those of you that run two heaters in your set up.

Do you keep both heaters set at slightly above the temperature that you have your Aquacontroller set? In other words, if the high setting on your controller is 80 degrees do you keep both heater thermostats at, say, 82?

How do you have your programs set for two heaters?

I'm moving from one 500 watt heater to one 250 watt and one 300 watt.

I just did the same thing. I have both of my heaters set to 85, that way they should always be on when the AquaController turns them on.

I also have them configured the same in the program. So, they both come on when the temp drops to 78.6 and both shut off when the temp go up to 79.0.

I did exactly as brad did....

Allthough my heaters are set a little differently:

I got the tank to the desired temp, turn the heaters to manual on, and found the point (with their own controls) that they shut off, I turned them ~1-2 degrees higher on the temp setting and then I was done.
