View Full Version : Will my Clownfish KILL my Crocea?

I have an ocellaris pair that previously hosted a bta, I got rid of it in favor of a carpet, but they haven't taken to it...

Now, they are hosting the smaller of my two new crocea clams. These poor clams went through a bout of PMD, which they've overcome and have been looking great, but now the ocellaris are bothering one of them, keeping it from wanting to open when they are around it (which, knowing them, if they choose to host it, will be always.)

So, what to do? I keep trying to scare them away from it, but they are bratty and just go back when I step away from the tank. Next move would probably be to put a strawberry basket over the clam.

Has this happened to anyone else?
