Mushroom Fragging -- Missed the mouth

So i was attempting to dice up a mushroom for propogation purposes and it retracted funny causing me to miss the mouth when cutting it from its foot, has anyone had success with frags that don't include a mouth part? I have 2 of them, while the mouth still resides on the piece with the foot ( attached to my LR)

Assuming everything else is ok (ie, it wasnt mutilated, water parameters are generally good and it gets the right amount of flow) it'll be perfectly fine.

you can have just a small bit of it on a rock and it will grow, thats how some of them reperduce they will move down a rock and just leave a small bit were they moved from and grow from that

I definitely find a piece of Foot is more important to have on a frag of a mushroom compared to a mouth piece. It should do fine. Without either I think your chances are limited however.
