Quick run down. I have a 20 gallon extra high tank that cycled with Kupang live rock and live sand for seahorses (that I haven't gotten yet). I have a peppermint shrimp (has shedded 5 times) blue hermits and turbo snails in this tank. I also had a firefish that died after three weeks from what I thought was Lymphocyctis (It looked the closest to pictures I found). She died about a month ago.
This morning, I found about two dozen white, pinhead sized dots with tails floating around the tank. When they reached the top, they would swim around the surface. I am now afraid that the white spot on the side of my firefish wasn't a cyst but an egg sack instead. :eek2:
Any ideas? Any sites with pictures of newly hatched stuff so I can take a guess? Here is the best of pictures I tried to take. You can see at least one clearly. Ooops, the server of where my picture is posted is down. Will get it as soon as possible.
