Oppinions? i upgraded specifcaly for a tang. 10 gallon sump that holds 8 gallons.

REAL borderline, probably too small, I wouldnt do it a Tang needs a lot of room

i would say a 60 would be 2 small for a tang, maybe a yellow if any, what are the demensions? i say get a small one :), i can here the tang police commin...

I would think you could do a kole tang, they aren't as active as other tang species. Give it a try, but if there is a problem and the tang is pacing or seems to be of ill health do the right thing and find the fish a new home.

Don't do it. Get a bigger tank or go for smaller fish. There is a reason people suggest bigger tanks for tangs. They just don't do well in smaller tanks. Do you really want to spend the big bucks and then see it die? Get livestock sized for your tank and then, later when you have the bucks, get a bigger system and a tang. Live long and prosper!

Not a lot of room in a 60g, you could probably get away with it if it's a young small maybe half dollar size, but they can get pretty big and messy eventually.....
