View Full Version : HELP on identifying what these are.

Anyone seen these before. I think #1 is to be some sort of Ricordia. I have not seen this colour though. I am not sure of #2. Thanks.

# 2 looks like a rock anemone, but thats just a guess.

#1 - I would search for "strawberry anemone".

#2 - Looks like a "majano anemone".

Thanks. #2 is a manjo. I did a quick google and looks like I have some work ahead. I have about tweenty or so in my 37g Seahhorse tank.
I also did a search on the strawberry and other pictures look the same as mine. It's also going .
I guess I have been lucky in all the years haveing never seen this before.

#1 appears to be a pseudocorynactis... no need to get rid of it- its very doubtful that it will turn out to be one of the large 'fishkillers' (Ive never actually seen one of those come in to the hobby). they are excellent little hitchikers- I grab every one I can find actually.

#2 is one of the anemones lumped into the majano group. probably a good idea to nuke that one before it gets out of control.
