I recently moved my 24g NC into a 29g tank that I had in storage. I want to keep it simple for now as a FOWLR.

What light should I get to just make the fish look good and colorful?

I currently have a Rio 1400 and Rio 180 for my water flow. The 1400 seems to be blowing things around quite a bit, even though it has a splitter on the outlet. Any advice here?

Thanks!

The 4 bulb T-5 fixtures are quite expensive. Would 2 bulbs be bright enough?

2 bulbs would be fine for a fowler, get a decent skimmer, a good, cheap HOB is a D&D marine typhoon, drfosters $68, and maybe a rotating hydor head will help your flow issue.
