the first toadstool that i pictured above...but this is from now, only its really not open at all. It gets much wider. I had just moved around everything. Normally that clown looks tiny in the thing :)

what on earth is that? rainbow Xenia?

what lights is it under? 14000 mh?

and when will i be able to pick up a frag? sometime next week? LOL i would drive to where ever you are to get that..

LOL...in all honesty that is gorgeous, much like a pic of a rainbow Yuma i saw floating around a little while ago..

i really need to get a piece of that Fiji Yellow too it is amazing

'Tis Cespitularia, my friend, or "true" blue xenia. I looked for this coral for 3 years before I found a reputable person to get a frag from. They are very poor shippers, and I almost lost the whole frag before a tiny bud took hold and started to grow out. This picture was taken with the tank lights out and the flash on for the camera. The iridescent "glitter" you see are calcareous sclerites in the coral that reflect/refract the light. Definitely the most beautiful coral (rarely) available in the trade, IMHO.

the "xenia relative" sure looks like regular xenia to me...the "elongata" xenia...same stuff i got.

I'm bringing this beauty home this weekend! I fell in love with the softies and the huge mature fish. The tank has been up and running for 11 years with these fish. Here are some pics of what it looks like. Get a load of all of the purple Yumas! Rocks literally covered with polyps 8 in. in Diamater.:eek1:
