Hi all,

A week ago, my ricordia started bleaching. They're in a 20 gal tank with a 24" orbit on it, connected to a 150 gal reef tank with fuge. I've had ricordia in the tank for months now, and they've all been very happy, until last week. The only thing I've done differently in the last week is... clean the big tank. Basically, I took a powerhead and washed off all the fish **** and then took a toothbrush to the rocks to get off anything else. I realize that this is almost certainly what caused the problem.... but I don't understand why. Nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, ph... they're all fine.

But the damn ricordias are obviously not pleased. I've dosed trace elements, but they're pulling off their rocks, overexpanding, and several have bleached.

Help!
