Other than water changes what has everyone had good results with to remove nitrates?

1. fuge full of chaeto
2. good skimmer

3. Deep sand bed in a bucket (see advance forum)
4. Sulfur denitrator

Only tried briefly with no adverse effects and maybe some success

5. Carbon dosing (like vodka or sugar), I tried vodka for a few weeks but I do not recommend this one just throwing it out there for those more adventursome. Seems popular in europe.

Had high nitrates. Added a skimmer. Lots of water changes
