Is this possible. I just moved one rock that was on half of the feather dusters tube. I left this alone because it was making its way in the sand bed. an hour later I see this greenbean size larvae with feathers at the end all moving around. I only have one feather duster that is green and this one is green as well. I have had it close to two months. Could it be that when I moved the rock it was able to then get out of the shared tube? I will try to get some pics of it on here tomorrow night.

Some feather dusters reproduce asexually by splitting in half. Each piece regrows the missing parts. That's what might be happening here. I look forward to seeing your pics.

I guess the new feather duster will start to "grow" his own tube?I hope to get them up soon I have to go to my sisters house to do so because my computer is not recognizing the USB adapter to my camera.

Yes, once it moves out it will make it's own tube.

The green feather duster that came out of no where is kinda in the background. I just noticed the brown feather duster on the right looking a little crappy, what gives?
