Can anyone recommend a good public aquarium in the San Francisco area?

Steinhart Aquarium is located in Golden Gate Park. The best Aquarium to visit would be the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is about 2-2.5 hour drive south of SF.

Seriously go check out Monterey Bay Aquarium... plus if your into restaurants and wine... there are a bunch of nice places there plus the view..:beer:
