Hi Everyone,

I have not really run into a problem with finicky eaters before, however I have a clown goby that as far as I can tell is not eating at all. (except for a few pods here and there) I wanted to try using garlic to help stimulate him to eat a bit more. My question is... how do I do this. Is there a specific "garlic product" that I should use for this? I doubt I will just be adding garlic power to my prepared foods. What do you add to your foods?

Most fish stores sell a garlic supliment, it is concentrated garlic extract. Or you can crush fresh cloves and use the juice.

Ok, I will try that.

Thanks!

I know that Kent Marine has a garlic product called Garlic Xtreme.

I personally get mine from a health food store which has slightly lower price mark up :)

I defrost my frozen foods in tankwater and ad a few drops to that. I have also heard of people adding the garlic tot he water beforehand to"whip the fish into a feeding frenzy" but I kind of prefer my way.

from what I've read and experienced, clown gobies are pretty finnicky eaters. I had a black clown goby and it took about a week or so before it was even slightly interested in frozen mysis and brine.
