airbubbles from wavebox

I'm getting alot of air bubbles from my wavebox, If the box was turned off where should the blueline sit at in the water or how far below the water line?

The blue line is the water line. Microbubbles would indicate a new unit with air still in the pump or the sponge is over the intake or too long of a pulse interval.
