I need to paint my overflows in my new tank. Is there a special paint I should or should NOT use? I got some primer that works on glass and I was thinking about just spraying it after that.

Krylon Fusion spraypaint. 3 bucks at Walmart and no primer needed.

That will not leave any bad checmicals in the tank?

Nope. Just follow the directions on the can. Lots of people use it including me; I even used it for the overflow that goes into the tank. It also scrapes off fairly easy if you overspray or decide you want a change of color or something.

Im assuming your overflow is plastic or glass........if then, I really recommend the Krylon Fusion for Plastics. I just painted the back of my 75 with this stuff and it is bullet proof. I have to try pretty hard to scratch it off and it is wickedly smooth!

Would this stuff work on fiberglass?
