View Full Version : ID Please - Unknown Snail

While working in my frag tank, I noticed this snail around my mushrooms. I'm assuming since he's a snail, he's 'ok' but I'd really rather check to make sure.

If you look closely at the picture, the darker area is his shell, it is very thin and small compared to his body. If I didn't know better, I would have thought he was a slug...atleast that's what he reminds me of. Any idea what kind he is and if he's reef safe?

Thanks!

a Stomatella snail. He is a microalgae grazer.

You win! :)

And for the second part of the question- totally reef safe, and quite beneficial
