really stupid question...I think

I have a T5 ho by current. In it are 2 white bulbs, 2 blue, and 4 small night lights (if you will) Please excuse my ignorance! I am trying. Anyway...are the blue lamps for nght viewing...or do they work in concert with the whites to give a " full spectrum"? This is what i believe and the 4 small lights are for moonlight...am i correct!! Thanks

yes, the "blue" is actinic......they are sometimes used for dusk/dawn effects. They give the corals a "glowy" tint (Highly technical aquatic term). The smaller lights---I assume LED's----are moonlights.
