I need a return pump from my 100g sump to my 90g tank. I anticipate having 15' of head, what is the best pump to overcome this?

Depends on the flow you are looking for. If you don't mind spending the money, a Japanese motored pressure rated Iwaki is a great investment.

The Gen-X externals are a very good pump for the $, but are a little on the noisy side. For a basement sump, that often doesn't matter.

I bought the panworld 200 ps from Prem. Aquatics for my 220gal tank w/ the 100gal sump 15 ft. below in the basement.....and I had to throttle it back .
I know the panworld 150 ps would be fine for your needs. It is quiet, efficient (wattage wise)and reasonably priced.

a sequence baracuda is around 260. online. Flow is very high even at high head rates.

Hit Marine Depot and get a GRI 14520, a bit under 300. Can use the 14518 if you want a little slower flow with that head.
I haven't used these in an aquarium, but have spec'd GRI pumps for chemical/pharmacutical plants with alot more important operations than this. When in doubt and needing 15' of head, go with the company that makes real commercial pumps for a living :)
