You need to be more specific than that. We can spend months throwing out hints. What's your question?

I find that feeding them really helps their longevity.

without some more direct questions people can't help.

Seriously, read that whole thread that FZ1Rider linked. Is your tank setup? Do you have fish? Chemicals arent a solution for a happy tank.
