just wondering if my spaghetti coral looks healthy. new to soft leathers .

here it is yesterday 24 Hrs after i got it and 1/2 hour before i removed a nudibranch that ate a decent hole into it.

I dont know too much about this coral. But what i do know is that it is not happy. It should have some polyp extention comming off of the fingers.

I think you might want to wait for someone with expierience in keeping this coral.

How did you Acclimate the coral?
And keep checking for nudi's if you have already found one. there are more then likely a few more.

Keep an eye out for those nudis. Hopefully it was just 1, but theres always the risk that a few came in, or that it laid eggs somewhere, so just watch it for a while.

Overall it looks OK, though it does appear to be bleached. The outside edges that have more of a tan color, as opposed to the white, are what I would expect the whole colony to look like as it settles in and acclimates. The color might be an artifact of the photo, but thats my thought anyhow...

i fed the nudi to my xanthid crab, seems like the coral is opening up more, lots of lil polyps showing. will take another photo in a week or so.
