I am lookin to upgrade my powerheads for a Tunze Turbelle Stream Kit. Any comments on these kits or recommendations?
I also looking for suggestions as to how which model in reference to the GPH I should purchase for my 50 Gal Reef Tank with Soft and LFS Corals. Should I go with the one 1850gph or one 3175 gph?? Also any recommendations on where to place this unit it appreciated.

I would go with the 6000, the 6100's would probably be too much flow. I have them against the back in each corner, pointed slightly in and toward the front.

would you recommend getting two 6000, or just the one for my tank?

I have 2 6000's in a 90 and they literally rock the tank when they are both at 100%. They may be a bit much for the tank but there is so much more you can do with 2 units than one. You can get the 2 6000's and keep them throttled back (controllable with the 7095 controller) therefore using the random switching of the controller to make some great water flow patterns for the inhabitants. Even one with a controller will help provide some good surge motion in the tank. IF you buy one ph make sure you purchase the multi unit controller so that if you decide to add another ph, you can control it too.

FWIW

Definitely get 2, your coral will do fine with a single Tunze but having 2 on a controller will really look good as your softies will sway with the surging current.

If you put a 6000 in a fifty you are going to have some serious flow, the 6000 was too much for my 90, with about half softies. I moved it to my frag tank (sps only), look at the nano's from tunze, may be a better option. Just the controllable ones are not out yet
