View Full Version : RO/Di pressure pumps?

The water from my sink pushes my RO/Di at 40PSI. and i have a 65gpd System. Anyone know any cheap pumps. or a way i could push it up closer to 65. Im guessing theres a lot of waste. but the water still comes out 0 TDS. my tap is about 19 or 20 TDS

A larger capacity more efficient RO membrane would be cheaper than a booster pump. 40 psi is on the low end but still a decent pressure. Spectrapure has a new membrane that is rated at 150 GPD and better than 98% reduction at 60 psi so I would think you would get at least 100 GPD still at 40.
