I began working on this stand in December when I was home for Christmas break. I am trying to get it finished up over this next week. (Spring Break) It is for a 58 gallon Oceanic reef ready with the center overflow. The stand will put the bottom of the tank at 40.5 inches off the ground. I like the height of the stand. It makes it easier to view standing up and still easy to view while sitting down. However, I will need a stool to reach the bottom. Maybe a really long turkey baster for feeding corals. The stand is constructed out of furniture grade yellow pine. My dad has a lot of experience building furniture and he helped me a lot on this one. Any questions just ask. I will try to answer them as best I can. I am currently debating whether or not to atleast partially enclose the back as well as whether to use an ebony stain or a black paint to finish it.
This is the stand all doors closed.
