On this thread it was stated that icecap gives off more light than the sunlight supply model. How much more light, is it pretty significant?
I am looking at the 6-bulb models for my 65 and I am looking to put a clam in the tank, so light is an issue

It's marginal the actual amount. Having one or the other won't prevent you from keeping a clam, it's just the icecap is just a little more effecient

If you are just taking about the reflectors its a small difference with the IceCap SLR being a 5-10% better performer.
But if you are talking about the entire kits the difference is quite large. This is because the IceCap ballast over-drives the T5 bulbs thereby producing more light. The benefit, of course, being more light. On the flip side you'll use more energy, create more heat and have shorter bulb life to produce this extra light.
So, if you feel you need the extra light go with the IceCap kit. If you don't go with the Sunlight Supply.
