I was setting up my ACIII. When I changed the program to use the season tables, it gave me an error and said that I can't adjust SUN more then +167 or - 168. Why would there be such a limitation?

I think the sunrise and sunset is an awesome idea, but I wanted to shift the day by 3-4 hours so that the tank is on when I am home, and is night time when I am not..... otherwise, when I am home at night and have the lights on, I am going to have a dark tank.

Any input would be appreciated.

Just set the actual clock back a few hours. I use the seasonal tables and have my clock set 4 hours slow on the AC. This way the lights run from about 11am - 11pm right now.

OK, I guess I will just set my clock to a different time. I am going on record that I think it is stupid that you have to do it that way though. Having a max offset of 167 minutes makes no sense.... I could understand 999. From now on, I will just have to pretend my tank is in California ;)

Or if you have Jr. w/ a serial port, AC3, or AC3Pro, you can modify the seasonal lighting schedule with AquaNotes to make it the rise/set times you desire.
