PH/C02 Controller questions

Hi i was just wanting to know if you should be able to blow through one side of the non return valve because i can not i am trying to figure out if mone is broken or its just for higher pressure there is a little plactic T on the top of my automat that came in broken i was wondering where i can find another one i cant seem to find one that small and on my gauge set there is a part maked R in the book i think its a safty valve mine seems not to be there im not sure the picture shows like a silver nob mine just has a little black thing is this correct??

It takes a lot of pressure, we actually make that check valve ourselves and it takes about 1bar or 17psi to open. I can send you the t piece, you can also buy them at any LFS as part of an airline kit, usually Lee's brand, in blue plastic. Yes, part R is black plastic and it is just a safety relief.
