Ok well now that i have no stock hood on my 24g AP and i upgraded my light to the 150w sunpod hqi, I am going to mod an AC 70 for a fuge on the back of my tank.
I am just wondering if it will fit behind my tank. I was just wondering if someone could answer my question as to how much room i will need between the back side of my tank and the back side of the filter. I only have 4 1/8" between the back side of the top rim of the tank and the wall.
I looked up the dimensions of the filter and it says its 8.5" Long x 8" Tall x 6" Deep. So im just wondering if that 6 inches is from the absolute front of the filter...where the water spills out of the filter itself or does that measurement exclude the spill over.
also what would be a good...inexpensive light that would be sufficient for growing chaeto in there??
