I have a couple questions for you guys...
1. when will the ATI/Sicce meshwheel pump be sold on its own and for how much?
2. I would imagine you have some old meshwheels from eheim 1262s at this point... can I get one from you/ATI? I have a couple 1262s that I would like to play with.

Hi Hahnmeister,
1. In 1-2 month. But only a limited quantity for a price of appr. 149-159.
2. In general is the good performance of our meshwheel pumps not only the result of the meshwheel itselfs.
For example:
A original Eheim 1262 with needle wheel is good for 800 l/h airintake. With a meshwheel instead of a needlewheel you can reach 1000- 1100 l/h.
But our complete modified old eheim 1262 meshwheel pump was good for 1800 - 2000 l/h. This is the result of many modifications we made on this pump. Modifications like a different (bigger) prechamber a different wateroutlet and some more important details.
It is not so easy to get the best performance.
regards,
Oliver

I realize that you guys most likely did a little machining to increase the volute and output diameter on the 1262s... sure. But for what I want to do, even 1000lph of air is fine. I have the pumps laying around doing nothing otherwise.
Can I get just the meshwheel from the 1262? I can machine the prechamber and maybe redo the outlet... but I dont think Ill have to. I was going to put 2 of the 1262s on a 6' tall skimmer and force feed it with an alita air pump, so I should still get 1800 lph per pump.

Here, my idea was to feed this skimmer with my two extra eheim 1262s. Its a 12" diameter, 30" tall recirculating bubbleplate style skimmer. I figure you guys must have a couple extra since you just stopped production of the eheim 1262 powered BM250s. Im really just looking for the impeller plate that attaches the magnet to the mesh.
If not 2 eheims, then maybe 3 of the Sicce pumps, but I suspect that the eheims will perform better with the height of the skimmer... if not... I'll use the alita.
Sorry I dont just buy a bubblemaster, but I really want to use a wetneck and have the skimmer recirculating/external.

So what do you say... can I get one of these...

so I can put them in a couple 1262s like of this...

Then I can make a large clone of a bubblemaster that runs external, recirculating, and with a wet-neck?

Whaddya want me to do... wait for the DC Red Dragons? Yeah, Klaus gave me a peek months ago... its drool worthy, but right now, these ATI threadwheels have the highest air throughput per watt or per water throughput that I have seen. I can easily machine out the output side of my 1262s and make a larger chamber with PVC...
The thing is that I dont want to hack up a stock 1262 impeller to meshmod it... those things are $80 from eheim parts... might as well buy a whole new pump.

Yes, that is true. We will come with the external/recirculation Version and the BM 300 soon. We have finshed all tests now and we can start with the production in the next weeks.
So, everything is in work.
thanks,
Oliver

In the meantime, since my 1262s are doing nothing... can I get a couple of those threadwheel impellers for the eheims?

Oliver... can I get some impellers? Actually, I even had a request from another reefer in my local club to get a 3rd if possible. There are many people out there with other brand skimmers that would love to threadwheel mod them it seems... and you guys have the threadwheels. All those Deltecs, Euroreefs, and H&S skimmers out there that you could make some profit on by selling aftermarket threadwheel upgrades on...???
